WHO IS GOD, MY HIGHER POWER?

WHO IS GOD

God, My Higher Power, didn't limit the creation of man simply to a physical appearance but rather breathed into man a living soul complete in His image with a Body - Mind - and Spirit.

With all the Religions, Denominations, and Doctrines in our world it's hard to grasp onto the truth about who God is and what our purpose is for being here upon this Earth in this day... With so many choices on what to believe how can we make certain that what we believe will not fail us some time in the future.

Today's organized Religions are filled with traditions and doctrines that have been passed down over the centuries. It is like a grocery store with the shelves full of choices (2000 years worth of choices) and we can walk back and forth from one religion or doctrine to another and pick and choose what we want to believe.

We can go from one denomination to another and gather a little and then back track to where we were carrying our goodies with us as we go.

The path between religions and doctrines are wide open and we are free to build our own version of belief system and call it the truth. Let God speak to you one on one through His word and not second hand through someone else regardless of how honorable and trust worthy you feel that they are.

When you follow Doctrines it's easy to look at God through human eyes, and include our limitations and human frailties to how we see Him, but when you grasp the knowledge of who our higher power really is you can see that his way's are not our ways. God our higher power is not limited by time or space as we are. The Bible is true from cover to cover, but the bible is not all that God our Higher Power is...

God, Our Higher Power, is so much more than our mortal minds can comprehend... The Bible was inspired by our higher power, God - written by man - for man... The Bible is just the smallest fraction a "Taste" if you will of the wonderful wonders, mysteries, and knowledge of our Higher Power... God

He is much more than our mortal minds can imagine... Our Higher Power has all foreknowledge... No starting point - no finality... He was, He is, and He is to come... He is the Alpha and Omega - the beginning and the end... He is the Great "I Am" ..

Go to God your Higher Power in Spirit and ask him to speak to you one on one and you will never look at your Higher Power and His will for your life the same way again.. He'll change your life and views forever when you realize who He Truly is...

Experience God, Your Higher Power yourself and discover your own truth.

It is this authors perception that God, spirit or our Higher Power actually does not have a gender. Gender is only of the Physical World. To those of you who would disagree or be offended by my use of "him" or "he" when referring to God, the higher power I would offer only that this author is more comfortable in referring to her higher power as being male in these articles.

I HOPE YOU DANCE

Dancing with God~

When I meditated on the word GUIDANCE,
I was drawn to 'dance' at the end of the word.

I reflected upon how doing God's will is a lot like dancing. When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.

The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes this and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word GUIDANCE.
When I saw 'G,' I thought of God,
followed by 'U' and 'I.'

'God, 'U' and 'I' dance.

God, you, and I dance.

This statement is what guidance means to me.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust

that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies be upon you and your family
on this day and everyday.

May you abide in Him as He abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting Him to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
